Anime or Manga: which do you tend to prefer?

I tend to like the series better the first way I get introduced to it. If I watch watch the anime first I like the anime more, and if I read the manga first I like the manga more.

Fate Zero Episode 21: My Thoughts

God damn! How large of a budget does this show have? The chase scene was just beautiful. The colors were vibrant and the animation was fluid. Kotomine using, and discarding kariya was dirty. They used him to kidnap Irisviel, then for his payment they were kind enough to set up a meeting where the only women he ever loved will catch him with her husbands corpse. On the douchey scale from 1 to 10 that is over 9000. Kariya’s breakdown scene was amazing, yet sad. I occasionally get asked why I need to listen when I watch anime if I dont understand Japanese, and kariya’s descent into madness is the perfect example why. Hearing the voice actor adds emotion to the show; If I watched shows with no sound the episode would have little to no impact. This episode was great, I hope that after the shit kotomine pulled kariya can at least hit him a few times before he dies.
